How long does it take to build a 2016 Colorado?

Does anyone know how long it will take to build a 2016 Colorado 4Z7 that went to event code 3300 on 16 Oct? Will I see this truck delivered to Tampa FL before Christmas? Thanks!

Most vehicles run 4-8 weeks total time. When did you place the order?

I placed my order on 6 Sep. The dealer sent me a copy of the order event history and it shows GM scheduled it for production (code 3300) on 16 Oct. So maybe mid Dec?

If the plant is running good, you may see it built soon, next week or two? 3300 took 5 weeks from your order date, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it built and possibly shipped within the next 3-4 weeks so maybe mid-late November.

10 weeks for my buddy. The dealer called him on wek 9 and said it was on the train, but ended up showing up week 10

It doesn't take long to build them, but seems to take a long time to get the pieces gathered around. There has been a hold on limited slip diffs. for example. So a truck with trailer pkg or just limited slip was on a long wait.

I placed my order on Dec, 19th and I am just now hearing that production will start on Monday March the 7th............ They sure aren't in any rush to complete my truck. Makes me reconsider ever ordering direct from the factory again.

When i ordered my 2015 Canyon SLT I had the truck in six weeks. I ordered a 2017 Denali and after two weeks i found "order cancelled", dealer had submitted it incorrectly and re ordered. Finally have a TPW of tomorrow 3-27 however I do not know as yet which day it will be finished, and then the shipping wait until a train is built to go to the NE corner of Washington State.

Hopefully tomorrow i will find out when the truck will be assembled.

Well the saga continues, first the dealer messed up the original order, then the truck was assembled on April Fools Day and then it has sat in a lot waiting for a rail car so far two weeks with no ship date in the future. Ten weeks so far and with shipping ( if it happens) it will be a minium of twelve weeks or twice the time of my 2015 order. All the guessing is applicable only if the vehicle is shipped in a day or two and the train does not run out of steam.
