While the service part may require horrendous actions to carry out a repair, the actual engine itself is actually very nice. There are videos on Youtube of the newest 6.7 engines torn down showing the improvements. That 6.7 is built like an absolute tank, and has a very high end fuel system with a German made Bosch fuel pump on it. They really are very nice engines, Ford just needs to find a way to design an engine bay that does not look like a rats nest, and prohibit repair space.
