2007.5 gmc sierra 4x4 inoperable. what to check next?

Hey, replaced the tcase, everything that bolts onto the tcase. 4x4 actuator on the front diff. you can feel the 4x4 actuator moving when you turn the ignition on. you can hear the tcase switching stuff when you attempt to switch to 4auto/4hi/4lo. it blinks on 4auto/4hi/4lo about 5 times and then goes back to 2wd and says service 4 wheel drive.

 

Is there a relay for 4wd? fuses? if i could get my hands on a wiring diagram for the whole tcase/4x4 situation that would help alot i think.

 

I'm really stumped. I don't know what else to check now. ive tried clearing codes that doesn't work. any help would be appreciated!

It could be several things unfortunately. I'd get it to a shop to take a look at the truck. There are fuses such as the ATC fuse under the hood for the transfer case and a 4wd fuse inside the driver's door fuse block. There is also the encoder motor on the side of the transfer case that could be failing and a sensor on or in the motor that could be failing as well.

okay thanks for the reply! i did not know what half the fuses stood for. the encoder motor and the sensor are both brand new. ill check those fuses! thanks

take it to a shop.....as you are not qulified to work on it

im a service tech for ford. just need to try and find the right information/wiring diagrams so i can test the circuits. not bending over and paying shop rate. theres only so much more that can be checked and i would love to have a wiring diagram for it.
