2015 vs. 1949 GMC Truck

I was getting new dual exhaust put on my truck at Kinney's Performance Exhaust and they had a 1949 GMC truck up on the next lift - thought it was kind of cool to see two GMC trucks made about 65 years apart....

What brand exhaust did you get?

Walk up to the '49 Jimmy, use the remote start, turn the seat cooling on, put the a/c on cold, adjust the power mirrors, crank up the Bose XM with the steering mounted controls, put the 6 speed auto in drive, set the navigation, the cruise at 75 and take your calls on Bluetooth. Ooops.... wrong truck. I do love the old GMC's though!

Kinney's has their own dual exhaust - I had the dual exhaust go through a magnaflow..just like this system except the muffler and the tips I used were single black lacquered tips...

I agree! This one belonged to a speed shop in Houston and was getting the hot rod treatment...

Almost had a '49 for my first truck way back in '92, still wish the guy wouldn't have backed out of the deal.
