Bilstein's for 2015 C1500 5.3L DC W/Max Tow

Are there any Bilstein, or other, after market shocks for my truck? It is stock height and I want to keep it that way. Bilstein web site says their HD shocks are not for Max Tow equipped trucks. I wonder why their HD shocks are not recommended for Max Tow? I wonder if it would be okay to put these shocks on my Max Tow truck anyway? I suppose Bilstein doesn't make a specific shock for Max Tow Silverado's.

I took your advice and called Bilstein. They told me the HD and 5100 shocks WILL fit the Max Tow trucks but would not improve the ride because the Max Tow trucks come with HD springs and the Bilstein shocks are not valved for these springs. He said I would be wasting my tie and money because I would not achieve any noticeable ride and control improvements by replacing my factory shocks with Bilstein's.

 

I thought it best to pass this info along to the members.

^Thanks for posting the response. I had thought the Bilstein's would not permit OEM height (2" higher) and rake and therefore were not as desired for a tow weapon.
