Letter from GM Re: possible missing heat shield

Got a letter for my 2015 GMC 2500HD saying the factory "may" have left off a heat sheild needed to protect brake lines.

 

Anyone have location or even better a picture of this suspect shield? I'd much rather take a look myself before waiting for an appointment at the dealer, and possibly a return visit after the shield is ordered.

GM's quality control is second to none! Hittin' it outta the park for '15!

 

 

Sorry I don't have any useful info for you, Kevin. With GM raking in around 50 LARGE on each truck, I have to call them out whenever I see things like this. This wasn't towards you.

 

I'm also curious to see where this heat shield is supposed to be.
