Saying goodbye to my Silverado.

Well traded up my 2015 Silverado for a Dodge Charger Rallye AWD. Moved and a 90 mile round trip for work is killing me on miles for the lease. I'll miss the truck but the car should be fun as well. Never got the truck into the 14s but 15.14 still isn't bad from that little 4.3 Going to still try and stay on here to help out if I can :)

Ugh if you can handle it good for you. There is no job in America that I could drive 45+ miles one way, not even if you paid me a million dollars. I hate traffic that much. Anything over 20 minutes is too much for me.

*Ok maybe if you paid me a million dollars a year I would fly my helicopter 45 miles to work. But you get the idea.

Nice to see you went with an AWD, great decision IMO. Not sure of your location but you shouldn't have any issues in winter weather where the standard Charger won't move.

You may want to look into a handheld tuner (Diablo Sport) for that Dodge as well. There are gains to be had out of that V6 in both performance and MPG's by simply installing the supplied performance tune.

Hope you have good luck and enjoy the new car. All of the Charger owners I know seem to love them. My agency has several of the SRT Chargers with the 6.4L HEMI and they are fun to drive for sure. You can definitely feel the 480+ HP in those animals, I love to rip around in those, much nicer than our Fords and out perform them without a doubt.

I wouldn't mind owning one but I just can't go without a truck and my Cruze is my MPG vehicle, no way I can get rid of that little putter.

Hope your new purchase treats you well. It will definitely be worth the savings in gas money that's for sure.

My hubby commutes 100 RT to work. He has been doing it for 34 years next month. He will be retiring at some point in the next year. Even though we are in California his commute is with little to no traffic for all but about 10-15 minutes on the way home.
