Text message for 2014 denali

Why cant I get text message in my 2014 denali with factory nav?

Don't think that started until 2015 model... but not 100% sure. My 2014 with NAVI didn't have it... I know my 2016 has it though..

Doesn't work on my 15 with iPhone anyway.

It works on my 15. I have to press and hold the voice button and essentially use Siri to send, but it works fine. There is a thread somewhere.....
