Wow, 3k trailer weight is not what I was anticipating. I wish there was something comparable to an excursion diesel offered by GM. Figured you could buy a HD burb without armor (obviously) and the payload/trailer weights would be north of 9k.

 

That trailer spec is without armor. Payload is set at 4405lbs for armor adding purposes. The main targeted buyer of this thing isn't interested in towing. They want payload for bulletproofing.

Far from anemic. And they are bulletproof, and I suppose that's what the end user is looking for.

For 80K you can get a Duraburb if they are still around. They take a suburban body and drop it on a 2500 frame.

Guys the .gov isn't worried about the price tag, these are being made for homeland security and overseas private contractors. I would be surprised to ever see one of these in my lifetime.
