Throttle pedal position sensor

I have a 14 Sierra 4x4 with 36k miles. I don't drive it hard but I do use it as a truck. Pulling trailers, highway, gravel roads, ect... 3 months ago it started going into "engine power reduced" mode and the dealership says the code is calling for a throttle pedal position sensor plug... It has been in the shop 7 times over the same issue... They have replaced the plug twice, replace the whole throttle pedal assembly twice, used electrostatic grease in the plug, replaced the ECM. After the ECM I didn't make it past the parking lot before it reduced power again... The dealerships "top" tech told me he has no clue what the issue is. Also this is the second dealership I've brought it too so there's no telling how many other techs have tried to fix the issue... What the hell is going on with my truck?? Is it just a lemon?

On my truck the battery is on the right side passenger side of the truck. Does the ground wire go all the way across to the spot you are talking about? Or is that for a different year truck?

Left side is determined from sitting in the drivers seat, not from looking into the engine compartment from the front.

If I was in your position my first move would be creating a timeline of events for each dealership visit. Then visit each dealer and get the paper work for every repair that has been preformed on your vehicle. After that double check your time. Then contact GM's corporate office and get them involved in the process.
