Black Z71 Emblem

Let me start off: I don't like Plastidip.

What I wanted to know; anyone who has taken their grill off, do you know if these emblems would fit/work?

My next idea is to have a body shop just spray my red Z black so it matches my OEM black bowties.

not sure if it will fit, but I have seen a few mods that have taken the 3M colored wrap to emblems and have had good success.

I haven't checked how its mounted but i think its just glued on. I am just going to wrap mine in 3M carbon fiber white to offset the black background

Im working on the same for my Z71 i want to color match the front.

I do not want any chrome on my truck at all. Nor red or any other color then white and black.

I got them off of amazon.

Can you take a good up close shot? I'm curious.

I ended up buying the actual black GM emblems for $80 on Amazon. They were super simple to install on the grill and the tailgate.

I am considering the Z; I asked a paint shop but they were excited about trying to paint it.
