Question on pricing

Yes that is with taxes 7%. And Tag transfer And I put $250 down when I ordered it. They said it went up because the rebates are different. How does Laura do it?

They gave me a price of $46,800. OTD. on a MSRP of $49,150. It's the exact truck I want ,that's why I ordered it. Originally in December it was going to cost me $45,000. Now it's gone up and it makes me mad. I may walk away on principal. I can get a better deal from Laura but I have to fly up there and it's not exactly what I want.

Why did it go up? How did you order it without a down payment?

I believe the dealer has the option to order it for his stock and then just contacts you when it comes in rather than order it for purchase. The price went up because the deals were different when he ordered it than when it came in. When you order a truck they work with the incentives that are in place when it arrives not when you order it.

You can get a better deal in Florida....

Whoever you are dealing with is not giving you any kind of deal...get your deposit back and walk.

Thanks Muddkat I contacted them and their prices are great. All they have are short beds I'm looking for a crew cab standard bed, LTZ or SLT

Most crews have the short bed.

I am sure they can locate what you want, if not have them order it. Good luck!!!

If you ordered the truck and they gave you a price including the current rebates then it will change, you only get the rebates when you take delivery and rebates change monthly. No easy way around that unless you sign papers when the dealership gets invoiced for the truck but you could also end up making a payment or 2 on a truck you don't yet have if there is delays in shipping. If the salesman didn't disclose that to you then that salesman is an idiot. Most dealerships would fix that and eat the difference at least around here in IA.

Well I ended up paying $45,250. I know it's not a great deal but it's exactly the truck I wanted . I'll be starting a new thread with some pics now that I'm in the club. Thanks for everybody's input.

This is correct. When I ordered my 15, I made sure to get the price before rebates and they were clear what ever rebates they could get me at the time would come off that price. My truck got delayed till march and I was a little upset but ended up giving me another 500 in rebates so that made up for it
