Newbie, lift questions

Just picked up a 2002 Sierra 1500 4WD. I'd like to lift the truck 2" more than it already is. It appears the previous owner has all but maxed out the front torsion bars and has added a ~2.0" block under the rear leaf springs (or do they come from the factory this way in the rear)? Again, I am new to this truck even though it is pretty old.

So what options do I have to gain another couple of inches without breaking the bank? Are there a set of extendable shocks that could do this on all 4s? I don't want to add new keys because that will just make it ride even harsher, correct?. I've seen 3" blocks. Any out there taller and what is the stopping point with blocks? Also what other components do I need to start worrying about like the transfercase, etc when lifting? Thanks in advance!

It would have a 2" rear block from the factory, and they don't crank the torsion bars at the factory so someone else has done that. Sounds like you want a full on lift kit.

New keys don't necessarily make it ride rough it's how much room there is under the control arm. It's not the best idea to crank stock keys but rough country offers a 2.5 inch key that is really nice with shocks and blocks for $200
