Low Fuel Pressure

2008 SILVERADO 1500 Work Truck, 4.8L 4X4.

 

Keep getting a misfire P0308. Changed all the plugs, wires. Threw a new injector and coil on number 8. Scanner is reading 43PSI fuel pressure at idle. Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like you need a new fuel pump. Pretty sure pressure should 55-62 psi.

I'll give it a try. Thanks for the feedback. Trying to run down everything before I buy a pump.

What was the solution here? Mine reads 43 psi and the Tech2 says 43.5psi on a 2009 LC9 5.3; it runs fine.
