Leaks or Dirt?

Took the air box and hoses off to check the air filter and wipe out throttle body (I have a catch can), and noticed these.

 

Paranoid, or just dirty?

Definitely looks like a mild leak.

I don't think I would be paranoid unless it was wet. But the bottom photo looks like carbon, the top photo looks like something leaked, collected sand, then dried. If no issues with the truck, clean it up and make a note.

Planned on cleaning it when it warms up.

Mine leaked in the same spots, much worse than yours. Had to go in to the dealer for an o ring on the lower leak, and removal/replacement of the piece that sits in the valley that controls the cylinder deactivation.
