Price paid for 2500HD

There is a long running thread on the 1500 page about the actual price paid. I though it was great for giving an idea of what to shoot for in pricing. I haven't seen anything on the 2500HD pages. Would anybody care to share that? Seems like 20% off MSRP is easily doable on a 2016 1500, wonder if that's the case for the big trucks?

Should be. Might require pitting dealers against each other. Bidding wars are fun! But I got roughly 20% off MSRP on my 2015 2500HD when I got it new. Not during one of those sales specials or "truck month" promotions either. Just as average day in February 2015. I was talking with 3 separate dealers. And not only did I get about 20% off, that included the dealer throwing in a Line-X bedliner and Auto Armor rust proofing and paint protection package. So, yeah, you should be able to pull of a good deal.

I got right around 15% off MSRP. But the real deal was they gave more than I paid for my trade-in!!!

Had a few dealers offering 20% off MSRP, but they were giving me a lot less for my trade. So I took the best deal, considering the overall bottom line. Overall, very happy with the outcome.

There has to be #1 out of GMs 2400 dealers. Laura is #1 in truck sales. They do volume, and because of that can sell them at a much higher discount than other dealers. I live in PA, and dealers could not even come close to the 13-15% discounts offered by Laura. I bought the $110 plane ticket and drove my 2016 480 miles back home. Saved a minimum of $3100 for taking a plane ride.

Also Laura has at least 1-2 fly-in customers a day!! They have people ready to pick you up from airport and all. Couldn't ask for greater service. On weekends, they might get 15-20 fly ins.

For those who have bought at Laura, are the Internet prices true? Or are there certain restrictions placed to get that price? Those prices look great and def worth a trip for purchase if those prices hold true. Also, do they still deal for more discounts?

Thanks.

Yes the internet prices are true. They may have some other specific to you discounts available. But the price advertised is the price. Don " the rocket" tried to stick me at 3.99% apr with a 810 credit score. I laughed and said call me back when you get real numbers. Half hour later it was 1.99%. Don't let them hassle you on APR. That 2% saving saved me $3,240.00
