My truck developed a new problem after the new wiring harness from GM-Upfitters. https://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/695/UI%20Bulletin%20124b.pdf

I let it sit for 3days with the plow attached. Went to start it up this morning and it was dead. I think it's just the battery. I have it on a trickle charger now. Will attempt to start it tomorrow morning. Something is draining the battery? Any help would be great. Thanks!

Can you unplug the harness then verify if that caused it or if battery still goes dead anyway? id be a bit leary of the new harness since you said it started right after the install.

I got my notice on this issue and have an appointment in a couple of weeks. I don't really understand what's this is about but I'm reading somethings that I'll need to return to my Fisher Plow Dealer and have to pay for some additional work after the dealer is done? Can someone give me a quick summary of what this is about.

I have a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500hd with 8.6ft Fisher stainless XV2.

Hello.

I have a 2015 Silverado 2500HD LT Crew Cab.

I had a catastrophic transmission failure at about 2600m :nonod: , had a Fisher Plow installed by Chevrolet dealer. The truck wouldn't start two mornings last winter, the entire dash would stay dim if on at all, then the Satellite and FM buttons wouldn't work, had a spring break on my emergency brake.

I too, have been back at least three times for the GD Electrical entertainment center problems and that is STILL NOT RIGHT. The Chevrolet dealer did finally get an add-on to the plow harness from GM that seems to have fixed THAT issue but man, the fixer add on part from GM is the cheapest looking and way less than long lasting wiring add on than I've ever seen. What a Joke.

Also I have an interesting sort of gentle whining noise with acceleration when my AC is on. Haven't asked if this is normal, in fact I want to drive a new truck just to see if it is.

Frankly, I'm a 50yo and this is my very first BRAND SPANKING NEW VEHICLE. I always thought it wasn't worth it to buy a new vehicle. I GUESS I WAS RIGHT. I will try to sell this truck if I can do so w/out too much $ lost. I am SO GD disappointed in GM, what a peace of Sh&*t. My wife talked me into the Chevy, I wanted another Toyota (Had a Tacoma would buy a TUNDRA) but need (so I thought), the 3/4 Ton. Always wanted the 3/4Ton Badd Ass looking carry and tow anything 2500HD. What an unfortunate and incredible let down. Friends said about my Tacoma "you should buy American" but just as I've always thought the last 25 years, American Trucks are just not as dependable as Toyota.

That's my two cents, good luck to you guys, I'll be interested to hear reply's to this text, if any.
