2013 2500hd mirror swap...help...

My buddy just bought a 2013 Silverado 2500 LTZ. It has power fold regular sized mirrors. He wants to add tow mirrors what works on this truck? Anything just plug and play? He is ok with not having power folding mirrors.

GM has a kit. 19243900. Comes with a new driver's window switch which also needs programming.

Advise him to buy factory mirrors. Much more expensive but they work. Don't buy the cheap ones on Ebay. I did and hated them. Ponied up for the GM ones and love them.

Gotcha just making sure lol. The mirror/window switch assembly (aka the Driver Door Module) that comes in the kit has to be programmed to the truck. If he has a small mirror DL3 power fold, the replacement switch deletes the power fold switch and comes with a new bezel as well.
