2016 LT Z71 4x4 Highway Trip

Lots of complaints going around on a few brands of trucks, I backed out of a 16 Taco order, got the Silverado instead. 200 miles to my deer lease in Oklahoma from Dallas, I can't tell y'all how happy I am with this truck, had 218 miles on it when I left, averaged 20 mpg, Was wondering about a speed limiter, had it up to 100mph lol, not sure when it kicks in or if it has one. Rides and shifts so smooth. Love it!

Very nice. I just bought that exact truck in a crew cab. Agree on the speed! My last was an 09 Silverado with a lift and 35s, new truck feels like a sportscar to me.

Be glad you passed on the Yota, my hunting buddy bought a new tundra around the same time I bought my Silverado and going to deer/pheasant Camp on the same day and same roads the best he can muster is 15/17 MPG while I'm knocking down over 23 MPG on the same trip! His truck is outdated, noisy, and well we know how they look!

I also am really liking my truck and the more you drive yours the more you'll love it!

I haven't tested my limiter yet...but that's coming!
