Need some opinions for charger vs cam/head work

I'm looking at adding a charger or going with comp cam, springs, headers, lifters etc. Which would you do first? I would love to do all the same time but budget does not allow that. How is the trans and converter holding up to extra power? Seen a couple threads mentioning cam swaps but not much feedback after the install.

In all honesty... I would do all the supporting mods first and the boost last. Get a cam that is for a boosted application, from what i habe seen the trans can hold quite a bit of power.
