Dual 8" Subwoofer Setup Behind Double Cab Seat

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to post the setup I did in my 2014 Sierra Double Cab with BOSE. I installed 2 8" Kicker Comp RT subs behind the seat. I was able to achieve right at .3 cu ft per sub. Sounds really great to me. I have two kids and play banjo so I could not sacrifice the under seat space. Gotta put the banjo somewhere.

I am not sure if anyone has done this as of yet but I wanted to throw the idea out there in case others want a little more bass but dont want to sacrifice storage space. The seats flip up most of the way which is all I care about so that I can lift the seat and slide my banjo case in and let seat back down.

Thanks for looking.

I like the idea of behind the seat subs. My current sub is under my rear seat on the driver side. Sometimes it is a hassle since it's in the way, when I want to use the back with the seats folded up.

No problem. Outside dimensions are 16"W x 13"T x 3.75"D.

I did not mount them. They are built to be a tight fit. I had to bump them into position and they don't move around at all
