Can you simply buy a borla muffler and cut out stock and replace?

Yes Borla makes universal fit mufflers. I have one I bought but have yet to install it. I'm worried about the sound when it switches to 4cyl though. Only reason I haven't installed it

I still have my flapper valve on... I can barely hear it when it goes to v4 mode.. Ive had it clamped open for a long time and it did get louder. But it doesn't bother me nor my passengers.
