Trying to find a 6.2L 1500

Hey guys, I made a post in the new member section but I'm not sure how much people are actually reading those. I have a couple questions. First, does anyone have access to a dealer locator? It's hard to search for 6.2L, they seem to be rare. I was originally wanting a midnight edition, but that now seems about impossible, unless I want to wait for 2017. Second question is, how expensive do you think it would be to black out a basic black silverado. I have access to powdercoating, so I think most stuff I could just take off and powdercoat.

Are you interested in 2015 Chevrolet High Country demo (blue) with 6.2L. Local dealer was advertising with $12,800 discount. You do not give a location so I cannot see if its a reasonable distance.

I am in the same boat... Looking for a 2016 GMC Sierra Crew 4wd Max Tow package with a 6.2 (lighter colors white, silver,etc)... Went to my local GMC dealer, tried to order one and they said they couldn't order a 2016 w/ a 6.2 due to restraints, but could order me a 17... But then the incentives on a 17 are going to be slim by the time it's delivered. I am in Florida.

Well thanks for the hijack.... Anyway, I should have been more specific. I'm looking for a black 6.2L crew cab LTZ. My zip is 25526. I already tried the dealer website but it won't let you put in 6.2L.

LoL. You're in the UP. Nothing is a "reasonable distance" from you.

 

My daughter will be going to college in Albany, NY, and her college is a shorter drive for me (538 miles, 8h 43m according to Google) than that dealership up in Houghton. And I live in Michigan!

We had a guy from Richmond (near Detroit) working with us up here in the western UP (MDOT) and he commuted back and forth every weekend for 2 + yrs. We worked 4-tens hr days. His wife told him if he did not come home every weekend she would divorce him. He came up here for a better job. Now he commutes to Lansing every day.
