Trans temp

First post here. I have a new to me 2003 2500hd 6.0 gaser and was wondering what would be the norm temp on a 80 degree day with a little load in the truck the temp trans is mine like 200 without the ac runnning seems hot to me.

With stock cooler about that. My cooler on the highway is about 130-140

I would say 180-200F would be a safe operating temperature.

Thanks just thought it was higher then norm I guess that is where everyone truck runs without mods
