New kid on the block

Whats up guys, I just bought my first chevy and I'm completely in love with it.

Coming from a ram 1500 I don't know what i was thinking

Anyway I just wanted to share some pictures with you all (not like its anything you haven't seen before) and get some advice on aftermarket parts!

First thing's first, I'm looking at a Rough Country 2.5" leveling kit, but I can't decide if I should use the rear blocks or not. I've read quite a bit about leaving them stock to make the truck totally level instead of raising the rear an inch.

After that I'm gonna get a nice wheel setup, which I also have a ton of of different combos that I like. I definitely don't want any rub, so I'm thinking 33' is the highest i can go? I want 18 or 20" rims, most likely 20s. I really like the fuel mavericks, if you guys have any suggestions that look like these I'm all ears (or eyes I guess).

Thanks,

Here's my 2014 5.3L Crew Cab LT 2WD

Here's mine with a 2.5" RC leveling kit. Right now the rear blocks aren't in it. The truck is sitting 1/4" higher in the front but it looks level. I'm going to put the rear blocks in though.

Good looking truck. I like the 16's. What size tires are you running and do they rub at all?

Cool. Yeah I plan on getting the RC 2.5" leveling kit. Just don't know if I should put the rear blocks in. I want to raise it but I want it to be level and not have that slant

I'm not running the rear blocks right now. The front is currently 1/4" higher than the rear. I'll probably put the back blocks in

Got ya, So as long as I don't go above 33x12.5 tires I shouldn't rub? Does the offset of the rims have anything to do with rubbing/ not rubbing? I'm just starting to learn about all this wheel stuff

Yes the offset of the wheel makes a big difference. Mine is a -18 offset on a 20x10 wheel. You could maybe get by with a -24 offset with a little rub.

Ok, do you think my mud flaps will be a problem as well? I like the look of them but if they need to come off for bigger wheels then they're coming off lol.
