Can't weigh in on the dropping off in a different location question, but I can attest through personal experience that rented trucks from Enterprise may not have a hitch. I rented an F150 ecoboost from Enterprise a month or two ago (before I bought my new Silverado :) ) and it did not have a hitch. I think that was intentional on their part.

 

And I've never had any difficulty returning rental cars to different locations. As long as you let them know ahead of time, it shouldn't be a problem.
