I just hit 2700 Mikes on my 2016 silverado. I haven't had any issues until today. I made a 50 mile trip and stopped to get a quick snack. I returned to truck and after starting, the 8" radio screen is on channel 0 with radio ID number displayed. I can't get the display to show song title, artist, etc.. Its stuck on ID number. The volume knob doest function either. If I use steering controls, the volume and channels change. ALL channels still work on XM, just won't display aND i hAve to usee steeming wheel controls. Any idea? One minute working, then 20 minutes later it's not..

have you since stopped and turned off the car and started it again? I have had a few weird glitches, not yours exactly, but turning the car off pulling the key out of ignition and then starting car again appears to fix the bug. At least the two small glitches that I had did.

Yes, I did pullover and kill it for a couple minutes and restart. Same thing. I thought about disconnecting battery this evening.

Do that. Known as a Global Reset. Fixes many issues, at least temporarily.
