Back in a Silverado

Going tomorrow to pick up a new 2016 Silverado Custom. It's funny I thought after owning a Hemi with the 8/speed trans I would miss the power...but not really.

 

I needed something cheaper, better on gas, and something just more basic. I WAS SO SICK AND TIRED OF NOT BEING ABEL TO MOD MY HEMI. Yeah I said it...the after market for the Hemi engines suck. You can't even tune the dang thing unless you get a new PCM. Also getting 14.5mpg on the highway was getting old. I did have 34" tall tires to be far.

 

I am going back with the 2wd. Picking up a Silver Ice Mettalic Custom for under 30k. It doesn't have the awesome interior but it has the only two things I want. v8 and the towing package. So now I get the towing package to pull my jet ski's and the v8 I can actually MOD.

 

I already have a list.

 

RC 2/4 Drop.

Black Widow Exhaust.

Tint

Tune.

Headers..not sure which ones to go yet.

 

 

I've been out of the GM game for a minute. I'm like a kid in a candy store...so many aftermarket accessories!

I just bought a 14 and set out to buy the ram sounds like I didn't miss anything.I still have a 03 ram with 04 body style I can mess with its getting 13 mpg.lol.Last Chevy I owned was a 2004 it was great truck.
