LED Running light, headlight assembly question?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've seen some trucks like the Denali's with the LED running lights above and below the headlight in the assembly. My truck came with the LED headlight but it looks like its missing something with all that plastic doing nothing inside that big assembly. Is there a kit you can add to the existing assembly? Or do I have to buy a whole new assembly with the LED headlight and top and bottom running lights, or whatever they're called? I've also seen some aftermarket stuff on Ebay but it looks a little too wild with all the colors etc. My truck is the white one (SLE), but I want lights like the pic with the black truck below. Thanks for any info..

Whole headlamp. Wiring would be different as well for the DRL control. Are they worth $900 a headlamp to have ugly LED DRL lights? IMO no.

Also your headlight bulb is not LED, it's halogen in a projector lens.

gen5diy has the headlights for 1200ish/set and the harness you need to swap them out.

Here is a guy that put the 2016 headlights in his 2014. I think the new lights look much better. Granted, you may have to replace more than just the headlights

I think you could just use a NC/NO relay to control the drl. Normally close to drl and use the parking light signal to activate the relay and switch to headlight mode.
