What size is it ???

I have a small one that I mounted right below the dash (only place I could put it)

It would have fit in the pocket under the ventilation controls but I didnt want to take the time to "custom" fit it in

This is a Uniden BCT-7

Too bad they didnt design these vehicles with radios or other electronics in mind because I have a Galaxy CB and a Kenwood VHF high band 2way that I just have to let lay on the seat and stick under the seat whenever I leave the vehicle

I prefer a hand held Unit. I Bought the 200 channel Trunk Tracking Uniden. Its fits perfectly in the overhead console, and Can easily be removed for use elsewhere.

hey guys, thanks for the replies/advice on the install. its a BC-7 uniden scanner and i ended up putting it in the cubbie hole under the vent controlls. it looks perfect there and all i had to do was just cut the back a bit of the removable tray to get the bnc connector to fit. ill get some pics of the install asap to post. thanks
