Wow, that's pretty freakin' awesome. What fender flares are those and how do they mount?

They are Bushwacker Extend-a-Fender flares, which I had painted to match. They mount using the factory screw holes, plus about 2 new small holes need to be drilled per flare (in the edge of the wheel well).

Do you have to drill through the metal to mount them?

Yes, inside the lip of the wheel well. Nothing that would show if you went back to stock.

Yea, I'm avoiding drilling holes in metal... can lead to rust very easily...... :/

Understandable in many areas. I think you'd be alright if you put a rust inhibiting primer in the holes and assembled with wet primer. It's about 2 holes per flare that need to be added. In Socal, we don't have wet weather, let alone salt.

Here in the NE, you get a rock chip past the primer and you're screwed... lol! You can coat a hole all you want, but as soon as that screw goes through, there's bare metal and then the rust begins... I put on no-drill mud flaps for that reason. If those flares didn't need holes drilled in the metal, I'd be all over them.

I see a lot of people doing the 2" level kit. I know nothing about it. Can someone enlighten me? Does it lift up the front to match the rear? What are the benefits and reasons? Hard to do? Expensive? Does it void any warranty?

The 2' inch level does indeed raise front but not quite to match rear there will still be a small "rake" to truck...I did it mostly for aesthetic reasons and it does give a little more clearance up front especially without air dam.

Pretty easy install there is a great video on YouTube that pretty much walks you through it. RC level is under sixty bucks.

Not sure about warranty but I don't have one anyway so didn't really factor in for me.

Someone else may be able to go into detail about hauling with a level and whatnot since it removes factory rake

I gave in and ordered RC tri fold tonneau cover....should be here by Friday so hopefully I can install it this weekend : )
