275/65/20 questions

I know this subject is brought up a lot but can't find a definitive answer so here goes.

I have a 2016 SLT 20x9 factory offset wheels. I am installing the 2" RC level.

My issue is tires ride and appearance. I wanted to use the BFG KO2s in 275/65/20 but cant find if they will fit properly without rubbing and my big issue is how will it ride with load E 10ply tires over the stock 4ply tires. I have almost convinced myself to just use the Michelin LTX in 275/60/20 for ride but love the BFG look.

Please any experience you can share will be greatly appreciated,

Thanks.

I have the same question. I have seen on another page someone commenting that the 275/65s do rub the liner in the back of the wheel well, but they were able to zip tie it back a bit to get it out of the way....

That's going to be close to a 35"x11" tire depending on manufacturer and how true to size they run. I would assume you will need to do some trimming after slamming those tires into the little GM wheel wells.

The only way to find out for yourself is to mount them and compress your suspension using a jack, and do the same at full lock to see if they clear. Chances are slim with that size of a tire but it will definitely look much better than OEM's with all the gap around them....Post some pictures after you install those tires!
