I can't believe I have had my 15 Sierra for 1 year. Just have to say..still loving it. 11,000 miles on it and never been back to dealer. So for all the people that come on here and read all the problems, there are a lot of us who have had none.

We just got my wife's Yukon Denali back from our dealer. The transmission came out for the second time. This time for a defective stator shaft. They also replaced the rack because of power steering whine.

My truck needs a new wiring harness (like every other plow prep 2500) so my snow plow doesn't trigger an alternator spike that shuts down my infotainment system.

My truck also dumped all of its transmission fluid on my garage floor on day one. Bad trans cooler fitting there. Not a big deal..

Front end howl which seems to affect almost all HD trucks is loud and clear, with no fix in sight.

These trucks are not perfect by any means..

Aside from those problems which were or will be fixed, it's a nice ride.

My wife's Denali is by far the best GM SUV we have owned yet. A great road tripper.

We have a new Explorer on order for our Florida home, and I'll be buying a new Super Duty next. I'm just not sold on GM's recent quality and consistency...obviously.

Although the Yukon is a very sweet and powerful truck, a new Redesigned Nav may be in our future if this thing breaks again.

I purchased my Silverado 1500 Z71 LT on June 30th, 2015, i'm happy to report no issues here (knock on wood) as well. I am very pleased with my truck.

Yesterday was a year for me. Sitting almost at 24k miles. Had following issues fixed or still waiting on fix.

  • Driver seat pop. Fixed once now acting up again. Dealer couldn't replicate so still waiting on fix
  • Radio Display issues - Reprogrammed and works fine now.
  • Seat Belt Recall - Waiting on parts for fix
  • Replaced passenger side roof molding - Either flew off going down highway or never came with it from dealership.

So far my issues have been minor compared to some on here. Overall I am pleased with my Sierra.

Taking mine in Monday. The Driver Alert isn't working correctly and the 110v plug quit working.

I don't know 4months now 5500 miles and not 1qty issue? Really, I have nothing wrong with it? like I said,"I have bought many a vehicles and this one with attention to detail and fit/finish....I can't find anything.

Maybe the only thing I noticed was the paint seems ultra thin and when I wash it I found a couple of clumps in the paint like the size of a pinhead....Maybe it's the flake material clumped together in the white diamond tricoat?

It's a damn good truck no way a Ford rides like this!

One year with mine on May 5th. It had 14,000 miles on it back then. Did a road trip pulling our trailer for 3 weeks late May/June. Now I have 20,000 on the odometer. I had one minor glitch back when i first got it. Can't even remember what it was. Love this thing. Comfortable ride, pulls the trailer like it isn't even back there, great gas milage for a V-8. The biggest problem I have ..... is that payment that come around every month. :driving:

I just can't see the ecoboost motors as being this reliable? I don't get it somebody is lying either Ford or their customers.....

I have heard they are notorious for issues especially carbon build up and such and if you look at a Ford muffler they are black and sooty. I guess they 'inject' two times per full piston motion, so would that make it like an 8 stroke engine? I would think that explains the problems with buildup but not like I would ever drive a Ford.

Will have mine 2 years at the end of next month and have been back to the dealership multiple times. Going in next week for them to repaint the roof and look at getting my EZ lift tailgate fixed. Some guys have all the luck!

Did you get a service notice on this on the dash board? They just replaced my Hepa Motor underneath last week. I have had mine 18 months and it has been in for 4 or 5 things under warranty or recall but I still love it.

I've had mine since Dec. of 15 and have had no issues, easily the best truck I've ever owned. I think a lot of the complaints on here and other forums are people with agendas, the Internet is a powerful tool and they know it!
