PLEASE HELP!!!! TUNE HELP

I've been tuned for about 17k miles on my 2014 with out issues. In reality just a TCM tune will fix the shifting issues from factory. These trucks have a separate computer for the engine (ECM) and transmission (TCM) the TCM tune will fix the torque management issues that cause the "clunky" shifting from factory.

FYI: At 3k miles I was really disappointed with my truck...really had no confidence in passing on highway...could not predict if it would downshift or not :M16: . I was told that Blackbear could fix this with tuning and bit the bullet. I was freaked out when Justin from BBear downloaded a modded TCM tune...it was like driving a sports car....truck just shifted gear after gear...exhaust note when shifting sounds like my stick shift LSX...going quickly thru the gears. I recommend BBear because it really worked great for me...if anything look around locally for a tuner that can mod your TCM...you will be pleasantly surprised how changing Torque management setting will help your trucks driveability.

thats sounds very promising. I think I'm going to look into a BBear tune ....quick question... What gears do you have ??

Do you have a point of contact for black bear tuning? Also did you get a programmer where you can select from a few tunes or just a plug and play tune? I heard something about BB sending a program module where you can upload multiple tunes

I contacted Jenna thru this site. Blackbear banner at the top left of this page...they are a sponsor here.

I did buy an autocal ($280 I think). I have stored in mine the factory ecm tune, factory tranny tune,87-89 tune, high octane E85 tune and modded tranny tune.

Justin from blackbear goes to several cities and does in person tuning...i met up with him in town and he set me up. Get with Jenna on the scheduling or do the email tune. It consists of getting an autocal and logging runs in your truck. You then email the files to Bbear and they will make the adjustments based on your truck logs. He will email you your new files to download to your truck via the autocal. If in future you make additional mods on your truck...you would do the same and he will send you updated tune files to download for the lifetime of your truck..free of charge. You can in future use your autocal for other gm vehicles...just by paying a license fee and BBear tuning fee. I was OTD for $580 I believe.

If I removed the tune before a service check if something were to go wrong, could the dealer see that I had a tune previously?

Awesome thank you for such a comprehensive reply! I think I'm gonna go that route instead of just buying a Diablo tuner
