Dents in boxsides

It's hard to show in a picture but I wonder if anyone else has this. My truck has a dent in either boxside above the wheelwell that has come from the inside... Well it's another layer of sheet metal in there so it's not like a rock can hit it.. Sure PDR can remove it but has anyone else's done that? I have read about front fenders self denting so maybe this is the same thing lol.

Completely different issue actually. Those are wrinkles in the sheet metal along the rail... hell my 05 has that. This is a like a rock hit the metal and it's only about an inch about the wheel lip. Like I said though.. it's double walled... Rocks can't hit the inside.

 

Like I said... pics don't really work but you can see how the ladder is distorted in one spot... well that's the ding... Now that I am looking there is 2 in the drivers box side... well at least I am repainting this side lol.
