Flowmaster outlaw for 2016 6.2

Hi all first off I should say I'm new here....I've never owned a truck in my life, mostly been a sports car upgrading to sport lux over the years. Recently decided to go completely opposite and got a 2016 Sierra SLT CC with the 6.2 and I absolutely love it so far....coming from a Cadillac ATS 3.6L, which was a REALLY nice car.

 

Anyways, I want to do a cat back....I've listened to a hundred video clips of different exhausts and I've come to really like the sound of the outlaw, however nowhere can I find it for the 2016 6.2, anyone know if this is available?? I've had borla, corsa and flowmaster all on the same z28 LT1 and by far think corsa was the best but don't want to spend north of 1200 on that or borla. Personally I feel the magnaflow sounds good deep rumble but a bit too quiet and I like the sound of the Gibson too but even though they seem to be the best bang for the buck, I've read too many problems with leaking. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I also have a 6.2 and am toying with exhaust ideas. The biggest thing, is if you do not disable the AFM, almost every exhaust sounds horrible when it goes to V4 mode.

Thanks, yeah the ATS was a great car, handled like a dream plus huge brembos stopped on a dime....I might add my truck is also a lease so I can replace the exhaust but I have to put the stock back on before I turn it in, so that's why I don't want to spend too much.

 

I'm assuming the louder you go, the more issues with poor sound in v4 mode....I don't really want to get into any tuning again because of leasing but could just drive it in m7 most of the time.

 

For cost I keep thinking mbrp and Gibson but I keep reading bad things about both, I guess you get what you pay for. I'd maybe pay a bit more for flowmaster but like I said they're not showing it available for 2016 6.2L.

You can clamp open your flapper valve and that makes it a little louder.

I'm getting an 18" Magnaflow put on my 6.2 this afternoon. Doing turn downs at the axle.

I did clamp the flapper open and it did make a difference, definitely sounds better.

 

Let me know how the magnaflow sounds!

Man, now I'm looking at the Volant after hearing several clips but again can't find. Only 6.2L up to 2013 and just the 5.3L from 2014-16....I don't get it, same as flowmaster!
