sunglass storage compartment woes

I put Ray Ban aviator style sunglasses in the storage compartment and it won't open, i.e. it's stuck! Any ideas?

Just keep poking it at different places and gently try tugging on it and eventually you should get lucky. Try different things.....

I use mine to store a couple pens, to small and useless for anything else I've found, and you can only put 2 or 3 because they fall out when you open it if there's to many.

I would use a very thin blade or small fat screw driver on one side or both and try to pull tabs outto release said holder.
