Good looking burb. I always liked that color. My tahoe ('09) was great on fuel and a joy to drive. Glad you found something nice.

She's got some parking lot dings and such. Oh well, so do I. Needs a few odds and ends here and there. She started life as a fleet vehicle. Half powered seats in the front, not heated, 60/40 bench in the second row, split bench in the 3rd row, premium Bose, no nav, remote start, sunroof, rear HVAC, rear dvd, no auxiliary transmission cooler, and a bunch of other oddities. Strange collection of options, I think.

The torque output right off idle still astounds me. Also, the rack and pinion is making me learn how to park again. Gotta be 5ft less turning radius.

Fleet vehicle with those options (or lack of) sounds like it was maybe a rental for Enterprise or another similar agency.

I bought one once, it was one of the best vehicle purchases I ever made. I would do it again if I knew I could get lucky twice.

I had a feeling about it since the first time I read the ad on autotrader. Just got back from a 12 mile data log with DOD disabled. Still averaging 15.7.

Think mine was the same, had some odd options on it. It was a great truck, no real issues. Had a whiskey dent from taking out the side mirror of a cop car, but everyone has one of those right? I averaged 18 or so between city and hi-way. But, I drive like a grandpa.

I'm driving this one like a baby carriage. Had it for less than two days and let the mods begin! Lol. Need to get floor mats and a dash mat for it. My dash pad is cracked, but not horrible. I don't think I need $400 WeatherTech floor liners for this one. There are some ok looking ones at Wal-Mart. Might check out the parts store tomorrow, too. Already have a list going for tuneup parts. Air filter, fuel filter, oil and filter, plugs and wires, tranny fluid, transfer case fluid, differential fluid, wiper blades, MAF cleaner, fuel injector cleaner, motor flush.

Nice thing about buying at the bargain lot, nothing has been touched under the hood, so any leaks would be obvious. There arent any.

I'll take the 5th...then drink it.

I wont buy a used car that has been detailed under the hood. I want to see what is really going on with leaks, old belts and hoses, etc..

Don't know about the burbs, but they quit using in line fuel filters on the trucks in the mid 2000's. Check out the Husky liners before you buy mats. I love them and they were under 200 bucks for a CC truck at autoanything.
