Damn, hope you're not still in the hospital. I'd definitely be contacting a few lawyers around, praying that drunk has good insurance or a successful life.

On the flip side, not like you really NEED all ten fingers. I mean, sometimes that middle one just gets in the way.

If your doctor ever says debridement and irrigation, run. As fast as you can. I refer to it as train wrecking my finger, and I believe it was an interrogation technique before it became a medical procedure. Whatever it's origins, I had it done Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon and again Tuesday morning. Until next Monday, I get to remove old gauze, clean, and repack it too. I'll spare the pics of that, but I have some equally painful ones.

And, yes, the frame is bent. There will be plenty of insurance coverage for this.

Thanks for asking, I got out of the hospital this afternoon.

...haha, and I'd probably tell them to take the damn finger instead of all that other stuff. Sounds painful. Hope it heals up quickly for you.

Did you have a rider for all the extra stuff on your rig? Most policies only cover aftermarket addons up to a total of $1000. I'm sure you had a lot more than that into your truck.

I also don't like car shopping. Always a compromise somewhere.

Agreed 100%

I lost my tahoe in August. Total loss. Got the check and part of me wanted to just buy a bicycle and call it a day.

Lol, I have already threatened to do that. There are some appealing candidates around town. Might go browsing today. Couple of Suburbans, a black on black 1500HD, etc

Haha, yeah, it sucks. Can you pull the engine/mods from the wreckage? Throw it into a shell. Of course that's a lot of time with no ride.

I used the loss of the tahoe to get a black on black sierra. Always wanted a blacked out truck and always ended up with something different. The new trucks are crazy nice.

Yeah, don't blame you. I kinda wish I would have gone with the 6.2, but the new 5.3 has gobs more power than I really need. I don't drive much anymore. Only put 1600 miles on my new one since September...400 was the drive home from the dealer. Should have gotten a smaller vehicle, but have a kinda heavy boat and the truck bed has been very handy lately.
