New Truck...Round 2

They'll start prepping it on Monday. Work and rain on Tuesday. Work on Wednesday. Off on Thursday. So Thursday A.M. would be a perfect time to get it. Beside, Ive been waiting almost 8 months for this damn truck, so I think I can last another 4 days.

I believe the bed lights are installed by the dealer. They come in a box that should be in the cab. The truck looks good!!

Finally, IT'S HERE.

 

Heres a shot of it on the dealers lot waiting to be serviced for delivery. Pick up day is Thursday. After a quick outside inspection (Sunday-dealer closed) I noticed that it didn't have the LED cargo bed lights. Will mention this when I talk to my salesman.

 

Question? Anyone else have a 2017 Reg or Dbl cab yet?

 

Congratulations Tower, yours got to you before mine got to me.

 

Having nothing better to do, I went on line and checked the inventory of all Chevrolet dealers in Colorado. All together they have a total of 290 2017 Silverado's either on-hand or in transit, but only 5 Double Cabs (including mine) all of which are in transit. I'd say DC's are still very rare.

 

Edit: You may want to wait for Saturday to pick yours up. My dealer says he thinks there might be some incentives for the 2017s starting October 1st. Just an idea.

Cant do it on Sunday. Dealer is closed. (yeah, go figure). But thats ok. I figure the dealer is gonna cut me a pretty good deal because of how long Ive been waiting for this. And all without getting upset.
