4l60e swap question

I have a 96 gmc k1500 suburban with a 4l60e transmission in it. I also have a 99 chevy k1500 suburban and I want to know if I can take the transmission from the 96 and put it in the 99 with out any problems. Both suburbans has the 5.7l v8 in them. I asked 3 different tans shops and 2 of them said no and one of the said yes I can. So I need some help.
