Any gains found from any of these headers?

I haven't gotten any proof other than the feeling when driving, and leaving people in the dust on the highway! Haha. Below I'm going to post some links where people have additional claims, videos, parts and pics, etc.

Can you post a few links? To the threads? I have already been browsing the muffler thread.

I've also read someone claim that if you use a dyno it won't give you the proper shift points if you're looking for that or the other stuff Diablo tunes offer ... Don't know how viable this info is though.

I'm not sure about that either, I'm not very savvy on dynos or how accurate the testing is. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any of the forums that had dyno charts. I'll have to dig deeper and find some!

So I'm currently running magnaflow's 18" muffler, I forget the part number, with 3" inlet and exit. I wanna do a turn down like you've got. The only X factor is finding a quality 3" pipe to run from the 3rd cat to the muffler. So basically, you're already running the setup I want. How do you like it? And which pipe are you using and from where did you get it?

I love my setup, there's zero drone, and it's just loud enough. At cruise speeds (65-80 mph) I can whisper and my girlfriend can hear me. So it's perfect for road trips. But when driving under an overpass I can floor it and it sounds pretty throaty and intimidating.

I got 4' of 3" stainless pipe from Jegs.com for $60. Wasn't cheap, but that's how it goes if you're not buying a 20' pipe haha.

Part Number 555-30911

I think I have the extra 2' of pipe laying around if you want it. I'm not going to use it. I live in South Houston.

As far as my setup, it's Kooks headers, then about 2' of 3" stainless pipe, followed by Magnaflows second quietest free-flowing muffler, tip dumped down before the axle.cb1214103d759baa37a90e4d76b2bd08.jpg

I could do a sound/video clip, but all I have is my phone microphone. I'll see if I can get one later. If anyone wants to hear it in person, I'm game for that too.

I had ARHs with a 22" magnaflow on my 2014 Silverado and it was just perfect for me... Before i had the Volant catback and the headers made it insane i couldn't take it

This is with the magnaflow

I agree, I prefer a subtle sound. I can't handle the roar for more than a day haha. My setup seems to resemble your second video by far. Why did you rid of them?
