UHO under my dash

I have an unidentified hanging under the dash of my 96 k1500 suburban. Does anyone know what this is?

that should be daytime running lights gadget.

my best guess.

it does not match 1996, but 1999 has them.

1996 onward is a mixup of 88-95, or the last generation gmt400.

 

my own 1996 is last generation as well. Just means a little newer.

Thanks for your reply. My drl's quit working a while back around the same time my ignition switch went out. I found the gadget when I pulled the dash to replace the evaporator.
