6.0 crate engine vs 5.3

I have 1500 99 5.3 wth 4el60 trans. Trying to decide if i should go with a crate 5.3 or a 6.0. If I go with the 6.0 will the 4el60 trans work with it? New motor mounts? Will it be a direct fit? Or should I just go with a 5.3?

Direct fit. Tuning needed and your intake manifold/throttle body will be used. Trans may not be happy, but mine lasted a total of 190k with 65k of that woth a 6.0

That's a 400 ? Right ? Damn that thing will smoke ! Lotsa torque and power. I had a 400 in an old Suburban I used to tow my bass boat. Way over powered actually for me. Great engine. I do prefer the regular 350 either 5.7 or 5.3. But for torque up mountains towing ? That 6.0 is about as good as it gets for a gas engine.
