seat swap, is it possible?

Hi,

 

I have a 2003 regular cab silverado with a drivers powered seat and i believe the passenger seat is wired to be powered but the actual seat is not.

About a year ago i bought some leather powered seats off a 2010 silverado with seat belts. Both seats are powered and i believe both are heated. Is it possible to swap these into my 03? I have been told that it is not possible and there too many "liabilites".

 

If possible, i would like to have all power options working including the heated seats.

A big concern of mine is safety as well. Would the seat belts be ok?

 

If anybody has any sort of knowledge on this topic i would appreciate any help. Or if you know someone that can do the swap please let me know. At this point i just want some advice on what to do.

Anything is possible. 12V is 12V and a ground is a ground. Seatbelts might be a challenge. Go for it.

The 03 has a seat belt built into the seat, where ya gonna mount the 10 seats seatbelt?

Oh ya and the 03 seat is about 100 times more comfortable.
