Tires?

:nonod: Search. Pick a tire and someone is running it. Handling will be worse than stock as it will be taller and large lugs. Noise will go up (each person is different how much though don't believe those guys who say an aggressive tire is stock quiet or quieter) and wear will be all over the place. Just do some HW and see what checks most your boxes with the best reviews.

Put almost 40k on nitto Terra grapplers 305/55/20's great street manners, barely noticeable noise over stock.

Running toyo rt's now, 35/12.5/20 awesome looking and riding tire, they make some noise tho

Had a set of Firestone Destination M/T's. Got over 40k out of them and they still had some tread left when I took them off. Replaced them before the winter season got here so I'd have some good tread. They were definitely noisy and rode no where near as good as stock but they didn't ride bad, just a little stiff. Replaced the Firestones with BFG All Terrains and they ride like a dream compared to the M/T's. They still produce a little road noise and the ride is stiff compared to factory.

Basically anything that is not a street tire is going to be loud, stiff, and wear faster.

Cooper STT Pros. Only had them for 4 days now. They do make some noice and the LTs firm up the ride but I think I'll get used to them. They look awesome and have good road manners though. 4443e649b2e3fd0c3404ac56a4a8a43b.jpg

Recently went with Pro Comp A/T Sports in 35x12.5R18. Very quite. I have had them on wet pavement, various dry off-road, and very slick mud. No complaints on any front.

Can't really comment on how well they handle as I put them on at the same time the truck was lifted. I can say as a total package, the truck handles much better both on and off road.

Tires come with a 60k treadwear warranty (you need to document the rotations of every 3k-5k miles). Pro Comp also has a 60 day ride assurance - not sure on the details, but guessing it is like what Discount Tire has for some brands.

Check out cooper st maxx. Great tread wear. Great in all weather conditions. And not noisy at all. I researched for a very long time before choosing those.
