Aaron McCurdy Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I tried to install 2" of lift using the lower spacer and 2x shims last night... for the life of me, I could not get the lower holes to line up with the 2 shims installed up top. Am I missing something? Ended up just installing the lower spacer for now. I was using a 5ft 2x3 as a breaker bar and could not get enough travel downward, the control arm was bottoming out. It seemed like I would need to do that, then push the lower part of the strut inwards to get the holes to line up. Was a little hesitant to force it, didn't want to eff anything up.
Waaazooo Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 I did mine without disconnecting the sway by bar. I just raised the entire front end till the tires dangled. It slipped in and out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wuznme Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 That's an option too...if have what you need at home to do so.

Aaron McCurdy Posted October 27, 2016 Author Posted October 27, 2016 Yeah, I had it on the floor jack with jack stands... wheels off, suspension hanging free. I could get the strut assembly in and out no problems, just when I put the top 2 spacers in, it shifted the lower strut mounting holes outward and I couldn't get them to line up. But without the top shims, I could get the lower spacer in... just at a loss.

Sorry for giving you incorrect info sir. Was just my experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
