Looking to see what my best option for high beam in my 14 silverado LTZ. The opt 7 in low beam is awesome! Wondering if an opt7 led would work well, , bare in mind, that , yes it is a reflection housing and will scatter light, but, i wouldn't be using these against oncoming traffic, thoughts?

i really apreciate your responses

I'm running Opt 7 9006 in my Sierra, same lumen rating, much better than stock, but no one has flashed me yet.

This is an old thread, but I just installed the OPT7 9005 high beams in my '14 Silverado. They look extremely bright in the garage. I'll report back after I drive with them in tonight. I'm pretty much sold on the H11 low beams, once I got them adjusted correctly.

did you remove your dust caps when running the led bulds or drill holes for ventilation?

I drilled holes in the sides of the raised part of the caps.

I have opt7 LED's in both low and high beams and love them. I didn't drill any holes, just put the dust cap over the bulbs. Might just be circulating hot air but I can't get myself to drill into my truck even if it is just plastic.

Thanks, got my highs and lows installed and even though I did not want to drill holes I don't want the bulbs to die prematurely. So I drilled the same 4 holes per cap.
