Hey, I got all new rear led's to replace the factory rear brake/turn signal lights, side marker lights, reverse lights and cargo brake and reverse lights, all purchased from TRS and I didn't realize I'd have hyperflash, I didn't really look into it much before purchasing. I was told on a different forum to get load resistors, so I did, I got 2, one for each side, and still have hyperflash. I figure this is a better place to ask this question since they weren't too sure about the sierras rear light setup, so my question is for anyone that's had this happen on the same truck, how many load resistors do I need? I posted a link below of what I bought. Thanks for the help.

The jdm a star stuff is garbage. Sooooo many reviews of them burning out very quickly. I would try to add both to one light, 1 to each led bulb and see if that stops the hyper flashing on one side. Then you know if you will need 4 instead of 2.

I tried that, but I'm wondering if I need both sides hooked up to even test it.

That's why I wanted to know who's dealt with this situation so I know exactly how many to get.

I had those plug and play resistors from jdm and they never worked. I had the same problem with hyperflash on my 2015 silverado. Put all your stock bulbs back. Hook up one led and resistor at a time (each led only needs 1 resistor) and then test it for hyperflash. If it doesnt then keep going till there all done. On the silverado there is 3 wires for each bulb and your only going to use 2 of them.(i used a test light to figure out which 2) I did it this way and had no problem. You only need the resistors for the front and rear turn signals everything else if fine. Just make sure to keep the resistors away from the wires and plastic when you install them cause they get hot. I used extra wire on each end of the resistor so i had more room to work with.

I bought these from amazon and have had no problems.

If you use the test light then turn on your turn signals and the test light will blink. Thats one of the wires you will use and the other is the ground.
