New member and 1st time owner of any Chevy trucks, see sig below for truck. I'm a former 05 Nissan Titan owner, gave it to one of my boys, for the most part it was a good truck and it currently has 150K on the clock.

I'm a CMM programmer by profession at one of Mercedes' suppliers in Alabama since 09/15/1997. In case you don't know what a CMM is see the youtube video link at the bottom.

As far as Mechanical knowledge, I'm mainly familiar with chassis, steering, braking system, charging system, cooling system, and drive line. I can do very little to internal engines other than regular maintenance items such as, tune-up, oil changes, etc. On my Titan I completely replaced the whole exhaust system from installing aftermarket headers and high flow cats to all the way to the tail pipe, tuned it afterwards. I had to have someone weld the joints because I didn't trust the clamps that came with the aftermarket exhaust. I installed new set of Shocks/Struts/Coils Bilstein 5100 Series Rr/Frt, had it afterwards of about 50 miles for them to settle.

I pull for the Tide but I'm not one of those crazy fans, I try to see things for what they are. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and I fix computers on the side.
